My family is in extreme trouble.  My parents have worked hard for 20 years and now have nothing to show for it.  Both still make 100,000 a year combined and we still are on the brink of losing it all.  Recently our 7 year old dog was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.  We have to make the decision to put him down or get rid of our three other animals to pay for his treatment. Our pets are a huge part of our lives.  My question is how can people work so hard, be good citizens, pay there bills, and now we are just left to suffer and figure it out?  When will all this end? It is tearing my family and my parents 20 year marriage apart.  We need help.

Hon,

I don't understand. If your parents still are making $100,000 a year combined, why are they on the brink of losing everything?

We have 16 animals & yes they are quite expensive.  We had to take 2 to the emergency room twice this month.  The bill was huge.

But, that is not going to cost us to lose everything.  Is there more going on than you mentioned?

Not being rude, just don't understand.
